Isolate newest followers, influencer vetting, audience overlap and so much more!
By now, you now have a few different tools from SocialRank that you’ve put to good use:
- A follower report you can segment and analyze
- Monthly refreshes populating in your account
- A saved search query to easily filter your audience
- A list of profiles you sourced through Instagram Cerebro who you want to target for follower growth
Now we’re going to put it all together using Comparisons!
We have lots of examples of how to use this feature as part of more in-depth use cases, but this article is a guide to get you started.
The Compare Feature allows you to compare two or more segments to find audience overlap. It finds and lists individual followers who: appear in multiple segments or who appear in one segment but not the other.
“Find profiles that are in:”
Adding two or more segments (reports, lists, or folders) into this section of the comparison feature will show you profiles that overlap across those segments.
Eg. If you place The Rock's follower report and the follower report of his tequila brand, Teremana into this section and run the comparison, you'll get a list of all the profiles who follow both The Rock and Teremana, aka. The audience overlap:
“Find profiles that are not in:”
Use this in conjunction with the “Find profiles that are in” section to find profiles that appear in one segment but not another.
Eg. After your first refresh, place your newest Follower Report in the "Find profiles that are in" section. Place your old Follower Report in the "Find profiles that are not" section.
Click compare, and voila! You get a list of everyone who has followed you in the past month, sorted by Most Valuable, and ready for you to analyze and segment.
