Difference in Follower Count between Instagram and SocialRank? It's to be expected, and doesn't affect your overall metrics. Here's why:
SocialRank's profile database is the largest in the world, at over 1.3B individual users.
As much as we would love all of the accounts following us to be genuine, a certain percentage are bots. The data we can gather on these profiles is limited.
If an account has been flagged as a bot, it will not appear in your SocialRank report, both because it affects the validity of your audience analytics but also because these accounts are usually set up and banned faster than our platform can gather data on them.
Our Dev team estimates that for the average profile, a 5-10% discrepancy in the # of followers is normal and to be expected.
